How to care for your adventure towel

Our adventure towels are designed to thrive with minimal care (the beauty of quick-drying antimicrobial fabrics), but sometimes a good wash is still needed.

Washing: Wash cool, using a mild detergent. We recommend an eco-friendly powdered detergent, such as Molly's Suds Laundry Powder. Biodegradable, mineral-based detergents work great. Do not use chlorine bleach. Do not use fabric softener.

Drying: Depending on the season and your region's humidity, hang drying is usually the best option to save energy and preserve the life of the fabric and seams. If you must use a dryer, tumble dry low. High heat will pull too much moisture from the fibers and make your towel less soft. You can iron your towel if it gets wrinkled in the dryer.

Some tips: Avoid hanging your towel on iron (or any metal really)), as it will react with the metal and change the color of your towel. Do not hang in the sun for extended periods of time, as UV rays will cause the color to fade.
